"A 9-to-5 just wasn't enough."
Born in Clarksdale, MS. Raised in Jonestown, MS. The youngest of five, raised by a single mother. From the start, the odds were stacked — but so was the will.
At three years old, I already understood that I was the product first. I needed to learn how to brand myself, and I needed to learn how money and education worked.
Growing up, I sat with people's struggles. I listened to every problem. And I noticed something that broke my heart: no matter how much money they made, keeping it was the biggest issue.
The problem was never money. The problem was understanding how it rotates. There were no systems. No structure. Just hustle, and hustle alone.
So everything became a game of failing forward. Each fall taught me what not to do next time. Real life was the classroom. Experience was the curriculum.
I learned the game. And I realized the truth: If you don't understand the game, you are the game.
That's why I built IDU. This is not motivation. It is not theory. It is a private institution for people who intend to own something real.
